VanMar is proud to provide students with opportunities that will enhance or kick-start their careers. Turning what they’ve studied into hands-on work, students are rewarded by the kind of real-life experiences that will truly help them grow. VanMar Scholars Program
The mission of the VanMar Scholars Program Construction Scholarship is to provide a scholarship in an effort to further encourage involvement in, and ambition towards, careers in construction and development. Ultimately, VanMar is in support of exceptional peoples’ desire to build their future and to make a difference in the world.
This is an achievement-based scholarship available to select high schools, colleges, and universities and is awarded to:
- Graduating high school seniors who will be pursuing post-secondary studies, and have been accepted in any of Architectural Technology, Construction Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering, Building Systems Engineering, or Urban Planning programs from an accredited college or university and;
- Full-time students enrolled in Architectural Technology, Construction Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering, Building Systems Engineering, or Urban Planning programs from an accredited college or university.

VanMar Building Futures Bursary Program
The VanMar Building Futures Bursary Program bursaries are awarded to recognize outstanding post-secondary co-op students participating in VanMar's Student Co-operative Education Experience Program, and to support students with financial need enrolled in an Architectural Technology, Construction Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering, Building Systems Engineering, or Urban Planning program with an accredited college or university.
The VanMar Building Futures Bursary Program encourages and rewards repetitive post-secondary student Co-Operative Education experience terms with the company. Therefore, the VanMar Building Futures Bursary Program is progression-based. Essentially, after completing their second co-op term with VanMar, an outstanding co-op student will be eligible to apply for larger bursaries than after their first co-op term, and even larger bursaries after their third co-op term than their first and second co‑op terms.
